About

As the centenary of the armistice approaches, this free talk will explore how the Coalville area commemorated its losses and the people who built the Clock Tower and other memorials.

Researched and presented by members of the Friends of Thringstone and the Swannington Heritage Trust, the talk forms part of the Memorial Clock Tower Project delivered by NW Leicestershire District Council with support from the Heritage Lottery Fund and the War Memorials Trust.

Please RSVP to james.white@nwleicestershire.gov.uk

The talk will be followed by a screening of Journey's End (2017), tickets for which are £3.50
