Terms and conditions of sale and attendance

Defined terms
In these Terms and Conditions :
- “We”, “Us” and “Our” means Leicestershire County Council.
- “You” and “Your” means the person who we receive an order for the purchase of “Tickets”.
- “Ticket” means a ticket offered for sale by us for attending a performance of any kind at our theatre.
- “Organiser” means the host agent of the performance.
Tickets are sold subject to the following Terms and Conditions which “you” must accept before proceeding with “your” purchase.
1.Tickets
A contract is formed between Us once We have processed Your payment for the purchase of Tickets. Therefore, please check the Tickets at the time of Purchase as mistakes cannot always be rectified later.
It is Your responsibility to bring a valid ticket to the show which must be presented to gain entry. However, We, will accept screen shots or print outs of receipts and Tickets may also be held behind the bar.
We do not provide a refund or exchange after purchase unless We cancel, or change the date of the performance.
If You are unable to attend the show, We would be willing to transfer the Tickets for the same show on an alternative date, subject to availability but this will incur an administrative fee of £5.00.
If the show is rescheduled, changed, moved or cancelled We cannot be held responsible for any costs You may incur for travel, accommodation and other related goods, services or compensation.
Tickets must not be resold for commercial gain. If We have reason to believe that tickets have been re-sold, they will be invalidated, and the holder will be refused admission.
2. The show
We reserve the right to alter or vary the content or timing of any part of the show in circumstances beyond our reasonable control without any obligation to make any refunds or exchange of tickets.
3. Admission
We reserve the right to refuse admission or to eject any person appearing to be intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, showing signs of Covid-19 including a high temperature or a persistent cough, otherwise behaving dangerously or inappropriately, or for any other behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance and annoyance or failing to comply with the reasonable request of the Duty Manager of the Theatre.
Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Only food and drink purchased at the Theatre may be consumed inside the venue.
The Theatre will operate in accordance with the latest UK Government and Public Health England guidelines regarding Covid-19.
We do not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal items brought to the Theatre.
It is a condition of Your admission to the Theatre that no commercial (non-private) use may be made by You of the show or any part of it.
Video, photography and sound recordings are not permitted in theatrical and performance areas unless written permission is provided by the Organiser. Mobile phones must be turned off or on silent.
Please check the show details, timings and car park arrangements prior to travelling as these may be subject to change.
Please check Your route prior to travelling to ensure You arrive on time. We will not be responsible for any delays due to travel disruptions. For some performances, late admissions may not be allowed. Although every effort will be made to admit latecomers at a suitable break in theatres, workshops or performances, admission cannot always be guaranteed.
In accordance with the law, visitors aged under 18 are not permitted to purchase/sample alcoholic drinks.
These Terms and Conditions are subject to English law which will have exclusive jurisdiction
